Retaining Volunteers
On Saturday, April 30, 2022, a group of IBEW Local 743 members (consisting of apprentices, journeymen, and retirees) joined together to bring about much need maintenance at our union hall. Back in 2019, the wood that made up the retaining wall for the landscaping bed outside of our school and meeting rooms had been attacked by termites. This weakened the wood and resulted in crumbling and mulch spilling out onto the sidewalk and driveway. Look at these pictures of our brothers hard at work…
Due to the hard work of our member volunteers, the wall was replaced and ready to retain the mulch and bedding for many more years. Thank you so much to all who dedicated their time and sweat to this clean up project. Ask your union leaders how you too can be part of the next volunteer project! Get involved!
